FishXP Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of FishXP and related services provided by LFG Digital LLC. By creating an account or using FishXP, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. Keep your account secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity through your account.

Fishing safety and lawful access

You are solely responsible for obeying fishing licenses, seasons, limits, boating rules, property boundaries, and all applicable laws. Never trespass, enter unsafe water, drive while using the app, or take risks to earn points. FishXP does not grant access to any land or water.

Catch submissions and fair play

Catch information must be truthful and must not use duplicate, stolen, altered, or misleading photos or measurements. We may review, reject, rescore, or remove catches and suspend accounts to protect competition integrity. Scores, rarity, multipliers, rankings, and challenge rules may change as the system is improved.

Challenges and leaderboards

Launch competitions award in-app points, rankings, and badges only unless separate official rules expressly state otherwise. FishXP does not offer cash-entry gambling. Each tournament or sponsored promotion may have additional eligibility and verification rules.

Your content

You retain ownership of photos and content you submit. You grant LFG Digital LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, resize, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate FishXP and create features you request, such as shareable cards. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content.

Do not submit illegal, harmful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or privacy-invasive content. Do not expose another person’s private location without permission.

FishXP Pro and Apple purchases

Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple and renew according to the terms shown at purchase. Manage or cancel through your Apple account. Except where law requires otherwise, Apple’s billing and refund rules apply.

Acceptable use

Do not disrupt the service, reverse engineer it where prohibited, scrape or automate unauthorized activity, bypass security, manipulate scores, impersonate others, or use FishXP to harm people, wildlife, property, or systems.

Service availability and disclaimers

FishXP is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Identification, scoring, maps, access classifications, and verification tools may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not a substitute for legal regulations, expert identification, safety judgment, or official navigation. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, LFG Digital LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, fishing injuries, property damage, unlawful access, or reliance on app information. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid for FishXP during the preceding 12 months.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using FishXP or delete your account at any time. We may limit or terminate access for violations, security threats, fraud, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by Michigan law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer law requires otherwise. We may update these terms and will provide notice when legally required. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms.
