FishXP Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LFG Digital LLC (“LFG Digital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use FishXP, its website, and related services.

Information we collect

Account information: identifiers provided through Sign in with Apple, such as your Apple relay identifier, name if shared, email or private relay email, profile name, and account settings.

Catch and gameplay information: species, measurements, weight if entered, photos, timestamps, scores, XP, badges, streaks, tournament entries, verification status, and collection progress.

Location information: precise or approximate location when you choose to record or verify a catch. Exact catch coordinates are private by default and are not shown publicly. Public cards and leaderboards may show only a region or body of water when you permit it.

Device and usage information: app version, device and operating-system information, diagnostics, crash data, feature interactions, and security signals used to operate and protect FishXP.

Purchases: Apple processes App Store purchases. We receive subscription status and transaction identifiers, but not your full payment-card details.

How we use information

We use information to provide accounts and catch history; calculate scores, rarity, XP, rankings, and challenges; verify tournament entries; generate shareable cards; synchronize and restore data; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; process subscription access; improve FishXP; protect users and the service; and comply with law.

How information is shared

We may share limited information with service providers that host data, store photos, authenticate users, process diagnostics, or support app operations. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not sell personal information or exact fishing locations.

Information you intentionally place on a public profile, leaderboard, tournament, or shared card may be visible to others. The Wall of Shame feature is opt-in and will not publicly display inactivity without participation.

Data retention

We retain account and catch information while your account is active and as needed to provide FishXP. After a verified deletion request, we delete or de-identify account data within 30 days unless a longer period is required for security, fraud prevention, financial records, disputes, or legal obligations. Backups may persist for a limited additional period before routine deletion.

Your choices and rights

You can control camera, photo, and location permissions in iOS Settings; choose whether generalized location appears publicly; manage your profile and sharing choices; manage subscriptions through Apple; and request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us. FishXP will also provide in-app account deletion.

Children

FishXP is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

Security and transfers

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as FishXP evolves. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when required.
